For your stay in Peru, basic knowledge of Spanish is required. The level of Spanish depends on the position and the business.

Yes, of course you can. As long as you are a member you can apply to organizations and arrange your internship and social work.

If you are from Europe you do not need as visa for Peru. You can enter with you tourist permission (a normal stamp in your passport). Thi is only for unpaid internships and social work. If you arrange an paid intership or social work, you would need a student working visa.

For Lima all typical immunisations like in Europe are necessary. If you want to go to the rainforest, you should get a yellow fever immunisation in your home country.

As Peru has its three regions, you can find all kind of climate in Peru. In Lima you have two seasons. Summer and winter. Summer can be really hot (up to 35°C) and winter down to 15°C.

The cost of living in Peru is in average way than in Europe. You should think about a minimum of $ 600, - per month (included rent, food and free time expenses) if you will stay in Lima. In other regions it might be cheaper.

Getting from the airport into the city can be really overpriced even from official taxis. Because of that the Airport-Pick-Up Service is included in all our packages. We will arrange a driver who will pick you up and take you to your accommodation.

Working hours vary depending on your internship / voluntary work. A normal schedule in Peru has 30 hours a week. Some offers will give you flexible working hours, home office or less hours than standard.
