These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants of the internPerú service. By submitting your membership, you are entering into this Agreement.
We have attempted to make this Agreement easy to read and understand by categorizing each section. These categories have been inserted for your convenience only and do not affect the legal construction or interpretation of this Agreement.
InternPerú is a platform and service to connect people from all over the world (participants) with social organisations and companies (partner)in Peru to enable cultural exchange, learning possibilities, skills and information exchange and to help out in Peru.
The services are accessible at www.internperu.net.
By using the site or services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions and to be legally bound by them and by our data protection policy, whether or not you become a partner or participant. Any use of the site is governed by the terms.
The site enables partners and participants to connect. You agree that internPerú is not a party to any agreements entered into between partners and participants nor is internPerú a travel agency, an organised exchange program, an agent or an insurer. InternPerú do not monitor the partners and participants and disclaims all liability in this regard.

1. Eligibility
InternPerú aims at connecting adults over 18 years old. Any use of the site by anyone under 18 is expressly prohibited. By using the site or services you expressly warrant that you are an adult over 18 years old.

2. No Warranty
InternPerú does not warranty any quality of accommodation. You understand that the pictures on the site are for information only and in the responsibility of the partners.
You acknowledge that in case you would seek any legal remedy for actions or omissions of participants or partners, or any third parties, you will not claim any liability against internPerú.

3. Suitability of Participants
We retain all rights to reject the application of any person we deem unsuitable for our Program, at our own discretion.
4. How InternPerú works
Partners can send their internship, social work and accommodation offers through internPerú’s website for free.
InternPerú will upload the internship, social work and accommodation offers to its website.
Although a part of the offers can be viewed without registering, participants must create an account to be able to see the full offer and apply for a certain offer through internPerú’s website.
A nominal fee (depending on the membership, see section 6) is charged to participants to register.
The registration enables participants to fill out internPerú’s Personal data form, send CV and other documents in relation to apply for offers, and apply for offers showing on internPeru’s website.
InternPerú will contact the partner related to the offer of interest and will send the CV of the participant. InternPerú does not guarantee any placement for any offer. The partner makes the decision.
The partner will contact the participant and will organize all the following up.
As stated above, internPerú is not a party to any agreement between Partners and Participants, neither is internPerú a travel agency, organized exchange program, an agent or an insurer.
5. Participants Registration and Obligations
When registering as a Participant, you agree and confirm that:
You are responsible for your own account security and you will not share your account details with any other person;
You are over 18 years old, or if different, the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction;
You will use your real name, address and contact details;
All other information you provide will be accurate, true and actualized immediately after changes.
You acknowledge that:
You will not be able to view the full offers and apply to it until you have paid our fees. Payment may be made by Paypal;
InternPerú is a platform and service for contact. Your suitability will depend on your CV and profile. We are not an agency and we do not guarantee that you will find a suitable partner; Though we are available to help and provide advice.
Though we actively encourage it, we cannot guarantee that any partner you applied after registering will respond to your application or be available at any particular time or on any particular dates;
You are fully responsible for investigating whether your chosen partner and the accommodation and opportunities they are offering are suitable for you and your needs;
You are using InternPerú entirely at your own risk and we expressly exclude all liability for any loss or damage you, your family, your reputation, your business or your property may suffer as a result of using InternPerú;
You are solely responsible for complying with the relevant rules and laws in your jurisdiction (if any) especially with regard to your visas.
If your account is terminated as a result of your breach of the terms, you acknowledge that you shall not be entitled to any refunds (whether paid for by yourself or by gift code). InternPerú reserves the right to remove and terminate any account without warning.
6. Membership Fee
internPerú offers six different memberships: premium internship, lite+ internship, lite internship, lite+ social work and lite social work. A nominal fee depending on the membership is charged to participants to register.

The fee of the premium internship membership is $49 and contains of the following services: 6-month membership, internship offers, unlimited applications, push the CV and CV tips.

The fee of the lite+ internship membership is XXX and contains of the following services: 6-month membership, internship offers, 6 applications per month and push the CV.

The fee of the lite internship membership is XXX and contains of the following services: 3-month membership, internship offers and 4 applications per month

The fee of the lite+ social work membership is XXX and contains of the following services: 6-month membership, social work offers, 6 applications per month and push the CV.

The fee of the lite social work membership is XXX and contains of the following services: 3-month membership, social work offers and 4 applications per month.
Memberships: The membership ends after the valid time automatically.
Internship and Social Work offers: When registered as a member, you are able to see the full description of the offers and are able to apply to it.
Applications: The number of applications are limited per month per membership. Only the premium membership can send an unlimited number of applications.
Push the CV: This means, that we will send members CV’s at first to the organization and at last the CV’s of the lite members.
CV tips: We give access to a private Website. You can log in with your email address and a password. On the Website are tips for your CV and what is special in the Peruvian market.
You are not allowed to give any information of the offers to someone else. Only members are allowed to see our offers.
Any information you will find on our membership pages are only for members and are not allowed to show to non-members.
We do not guarantee a social work or internship placement.
7. Optional Services
InternPerú offers three optional services: accommodation assistance, Airport Pick Up Service and a Phone SIM Card.
Accommodation Assistance: Once you paid for the service, we will send you a link to a private Website. You can log in with you E-mail address and a password. On the website you can see all the rooms that are offered. Once you chose a room you can request the booking. After that the owner will get in touch with you.
We cannot guarantee that the room is available for your dates you choose.
The private Website and the booking is only for internPerú’s members. You cannot book for another person.
Cancelations and payments (rent and deposit) is to be managed with the owner of the room. InternPerú is only the connection between the owner and the student.
Airport Pick Up Service: When booked this service you have to send us via mail your new address in Lima, flight number, origin, date, time and airline company of the flight to Lima. Without this information we cannot manage your pick-up service.
We will send a driver who will wait with a sign of your name in the arrival hall. He will take you directly to your new home. You do not have to pay the driver directly. Payments are via our website.
We only offer this service from the Airport in Lima.
Phone SIM Card: The Phone SIM Card is valid for one year. After one year your SIM Card will be blocked. We will send it to your new home in Lima after your arrival.
You need to send us via E-Mail your new address in Lima and your arrival date.
You can recharge the SIM in every little shop Supermarket and gas station.
You need to handle the SIM card with responsibility as if it was your own.
For all optional services internPerú does not give a refund.
8. Website and Promotional Material
(a) The content and information displayed on our website and other promotional material is believed to be valid and correct but we will not be held liable and do not take responsibility for any misinformation or ambiguities in the content.
(b) With your permission, we reserve the right to your photograph, or video footage of you, for use in our promotional material. We do not make any payments to individuals in respect of such use. We may (but are not obliged to) re-produce the photographs (or part of them) in our promotional material including, without limitation, posters, advertisements, printed publications, on our website and social media website pages. Copyright in the photographs will belong to internPerú. We will not use your image, or any other information you provide, for any other purpose. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent for your photographic data to be used for our promotional purposes.
9. Partners and Participants conduct
By using the site and service you agree that you are solely responsible for compliance with any law, rule, regulation, that may apply to your relationship with any partner, participant or any third party. You acknowledge that you will not:
Violate these terms, any law or regulation, or any order of a court;
Use the site or services for illegal purpose, especially to breach violate internPerú data protection policy or terms;
Use the site or services for commercial purpose or other purpose that would violate the terms or any law;
Imply in any way any partnership between internPerú and you or any endorsement or affiliation with internPerú;
Harm in any way internPerú’s reputation, brand or image including through unauthorized use of the site or services, infringement of InternPerú’s intellectual property rights, passing off, registration and/or use of InternPerú domain names, trademarks or logos or any other identifier that would create a confusion with InternPerú or imply a connection with InternPerú;
Harass any Partner or Participant or collect or store any personal data about them other than for purposes of the Service or engage in any abusive behaviour;
Register for more than one Participant account or register for a InternPerú Account on behalf of an individual other than yourself, or falsify or misrepresent yourself;
Recruit or solicit any Partner or Participant to join third-party services or websites that are competitive to InternPerú, without InternPerú's prior written approval;
Use any software or devices to access in any way any authorized web pages on the Site or attempt to harm, decipher, decompile any of the software used to provide the Site or Services;
Damage the Site or Services, including, through the use of viruses, Trojan horses, forged routing or electronic mail address information or similar methods or technology;
Collect or retrieve data from our Site to compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, database, directory, or otherwise
Encourage, promote or assist any third party in doing any of the foregoing.
InternPerú reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, (i) to remove or disable access to the Site or Services at its sole discretion, in case of violation of the Terms; (ii) to investigate and prosecute any violation of the Terms (iii) to disclose any of your information if required to do so by law.
10. Misconduct
If you feel someone is violating the Terms and acting inappropriately, you should immediately report such person to the appropriate authorities and then to InternPerú.
If an account has been removed, terminated or refunded it is not possible to set up a second account, no refunds will be made for those setting up a second or duplicate accounts.
11. Liability for Losses and Program Changes
(a) We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for loss of or damage to your passport or any other personal property at any part of the immigration visa process, during transit or during registration.
12. Your Responsibility
(a) It is your responsibility to be aware of any national holidays or other events that may change the nature of the Program. While most companies operate a 08:00 – 18:00 working policy some may have different requirements and we cannot be held responsible for this.
(b) International flights are not included in the cost of any of our Memberships or Services. It is your sole responsibility to arrange flights and to select providers based on your own decisions and experiences. We cannot be held responsible for any action, negligence or event relating to the purchase or operation of flight tickets or flights. We will also not be responsible for any costs or refunds due to changes or delays in the flights.
(c) It is your responsibility to arrange your own immigration visa. Where we will provide visa assistance as best to our current research and knowledge we cannot be held liable for any costs or delays relating to your immigration visa acquisition. Costs include the visa application, travel and accommodation.
(d) It is your responsibility to verify the required documents in order to obtain your immigration visa by liaising with the counsellor / embassy of Peru. Please note immigration visa policies are subject to change and differs according to your country of origin / residence. We cannot be held liable for the change in visa immigration policies.
(e) It is your responsibility to arrange your immigration visa according to your arriving date. We cannot be held liable for any costs or delays relating to a postponement of your arriving date relating to your visa acquisition.
(f) it is your responsibility to provide updates about the visa application process or related documents, if requested.
13. Safety
(a) We, our partner companies, suppliers and members of staff cannot be held responsible for any case of injury, accident, claim, theft, damage, sickness, cancellation or loss, in relation to our/their services.
(b) You are responsible for your own safety during your stay in Peru and neither we, nor the assigned internship / social work provider, take responsibility nor can be held liable for any accident, sickness, loss, damage, expense or hazard encountered through-out the Program.
(c) You will be held responsible and liable for any damages to the assigned internship / social work provider during your placement. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you purchase personal liability insurance prior to the Commencement Date.
14. Third Party Behaviour or Actions
(a) We take no responsibility and are not liable for any third-party behaviour or actions including but not limited to that of the host partnership provider and accommodation provider. We do not take responsibility and are not liable for any accidents that take place at any third-party locations including but not limited to the premises of the host internship / social work provider and the designated accommodation. It is your responsibility to ensure you purchase personal liability insurance prior to the Commencement Date.
15. Accommodation Rules
(a) You have to stay with the rules of the accommodation owner.
16. Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability is limited to the membership fee.
17. Other Terms
(a) A person who is not party to this agreement shall not have any rights under or in connection with it.
(b) The rights of the parties to terminate rescind or agree any variation, waiver or settlement under the
Agreement is not subject to the consent of any person that is not a party to this agreement.
(c) If a provision of the Agreement (or part of any provision) is found by any court or other authority of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed not to form part of the Agreement, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of the Agreement shall not be affected.
(d) If a provision of the Agreement (or any part of any provision) is found illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the provision shall apply with the minimum modification necessary to make it legal, valid and enforceable or the parties shall negotiate in good faith to amend such provisions such that, as amended, it is legal, valid and enforceable, and, to the greatest extent possible, achieves the parties’ original commercial intention.
18. Miscelaneous
You agree to indemnify InternPerú against any claims, actions, proceedings, losses, damages, expenses and costs (including without limitation court costs and legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of InternPerú.
InternPerú may contain links or references to third party websites. Any such links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over third party websites and accept no legal responsibility for any content, material or information contained in them. The display of any link or reference to any third-party website does not mean that we endorse that website, product or service.
InternPerú may retract or change their services at any time without notice or refund.
You acknowledge that InternPerú is a service to enable contact and does not act as an agent or is party to any exchange you organise.
We may modify the terms from time to time. You agree to be bound by any changes made by us. It is your responsibility to check the terms from time to time to verify such changes.
